The GAA HQ in Dublin underwent an engineering report in order to check the quality of mechanical and electrical systems in place. Due to the life expectancy of some systems, recommendations were made to ensure the health and welfare of the public.

It was recommended that the client replace passenger lifts in the Cusack Stand due to wear and tear. Also recommended was the replacement of the large generator with a standby generator which is expected to last between 20 and 30 years depending on usage.

Our engineers also advised as a cost saving measure that a Building Management System (BMS) be installed in the building and all lighting, heating, etc. be controlled via this. This will ensure building services are being effectively utilised.
