The GAA HQ in Dublin underwent an Engineering Report in order to check the quality of mechanical and electrical systems in place. Due to the life expectancy of some systems, recommendations were made to ensure the health and welfare of the public. It was recommended that they replace passenger lifts in Cusack Stand due to wear and tear. It was recommended that the large generator be replaced with a standby generator which is expected to last between 20 and 30 years depending on usage.
Our engineers also advised as a cost saving measure that a BMS be installed in the building and all lighting, heating etc. be controlled via this. This will ensure building services are being effectively utilised.
