NLCE help you transition to renewable technologies with the Support Scheme for Renewable Heat

The Support Scheme for Renewable Heat will financially support businesses with the replacement of fossil fuel heating systems to a renewable energy solution. NLCE provide the technical assistance to complete the application forms and the professional services to fulfil the design engineer requirements of the grant conditions.

The scheme is open to commercial, industrial, agricultural, district heating, public sector and other non-domestic heat users and provides funding of up to 30% of eligible costs for installation of renewable heat pumps and also a tariff based on usable heat output for biomass boilers and anaerobic digestion heating systems for a period of up to 15 years.

Daniel Ring, MD at NLCE comments, “The scheme is designed to contribute to Ireland meeting its 2020 renewable energy targets. Renewable technologies can help a business attempting to improve its CSR efforts, or just reduce its energy load and bills which will have an inevitable impact on your margins and therefore your competitiveness.”

We have successfully integrated renewable technologies into numerous sites and many more at feasibility and planning stages. We have worked with large companies such as Lidl, Teagasc, Eason’s, Dunnes Stores, Brown Thomas, Dublin City Council, Bord na Mona and more to help companies to transition to renewable technologies, all the time keeping their specific business requirements in mind.
