NLCE were engaged as services consultants in the re-development of this 19th Century building in the prestigious Fitzrovia district, only a short stroll from Tottenham Court Road in London. Originally constructed as a warehouse and more recently a period office building, it has now been transformed into a development comprising seven luxury apartments.
Our skilled team of Engineers assisted in this project in a number of ways including Energy Modelling to ensure fabric upgrades and engineered systems achieved statutory compliance and liaising with UK based utility providers to ensure the building’s occupiers are getting the best tariff rate. 
Our engineers have worked on a number of sites and therefore advising the architect to ensure the best quality of service is received and after sale services can be utilised is a common service requested from NLCE. 
NLCE staff too carried out visits to the site and made recommendations based on what they have seen during these visits. 
Some key design elements of this building implemented was the single boiler house with heat metering in each apartment, a high efficiency lighting system and a security and access control system for each apartment all linked to the buildings main security system.
